Up to 30 days

China is curently testing visa-free entrance for Germans for up to 30 days. Wonderfully, the test phase has been extended until the end of 2025. This means that you do not need to apply for a visa if you plan to stay a maximum of 30 days around the wedding:

    It is quite easy and straightforward to get a visa to China, it just needs a bit of paperwork and a visit to a visa application center. There are quite a few such centers spread over Germany, but not every city will have one. The closest to, e.g., Cologne is near Düsseldorf HBf.
